Dan had the opportunity to work many positions while at the Sheriff's Office some of which were in the Jail, Prisoner Transport, Court Security and Road Patrol. Dan was a Field Training Officer, Police Instructor, and Class Counselor for a Recruit Academy. Dan retired in 2015.
United States Navy Reserves 1985-1993
Dan served in the United States Nave Reserves from 1985-1993. Receiving the National Defense Medal, Naval Reserve Meritorious Service Medal, New York State Naval Militia Medal for Meritorious Service Medal and an Honorable Discharge.

Originally from Rochester, NY, I have a strong local connection, having attended Monroe Community College and SUNY Brockport. My career includes eight years of service in the United States Navy Reserves and a 25-year tenure with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, from which I am now retired. I am actively involved in the American Legion and enjoy spending time with my family, supporting local sports teams, and traveling.
